On this day, September 2nd, in Sikh History: 1984 : Sarbat Khalsa was convened where Zail Sinh and Buta Sinh were excommunicated from Guru Khalsa Panth for their part in the Bluestar Operation. 1953 : Sardar Kapur Singh, a Sikh philosopher and and ICS officer, was dismissed on flimsy grounds. 1926 : Akal Chalana, Bhai Hira Singh, an accomplished Panthic ragi. 1922 : Pundit Madam Mohan Malviya witnessed the police brutalities against GurSikhs in Guru-Ka- Bagh Morcha.
