Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 / ੧ ਮਾਘ , ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ ੫੫੭

1761ਜਨਮ-ਦਿਹਾੜਾ   Birth date, Baba Akali Phula Singh Ji Nihang.
1764 The Sirhind was conquered by the Khalsa Dal. The younger sahibzadas, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji were bricked alive at this site.
1914 Boundry walls at Gurdwara RakabGanj were forcibly demolished by the British Government. The resulting Sikh anger culminated in a successful agitation.
